Kasha today: homemade dog food recipe:
For 4 adults and 3 puppies:
In a large pan, combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 lbs of chopped beef liver. Roast for 15 minutes on med/high, stirring occasionally, so it’s brown on all sides.
In a large pot, combine 1.5 lb of organic rolled oats, 5 quarts of water, roasted liver, and 26 oz of bison fat (just our leftovers). Bring to boil and boil on medium for 7 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1.5 cups of dry chives, 3 tablespoons of dry dill weed, 15 oz of Organic tomato sauce, 6 oz of Organic tomato paste, and boil for 5 more minutes. Let it cool completely.
