Being as good a mother as she is, Quana did an absolutely wonderful job with our "K" litter. These puppies were born January 20, 2010, 7 males and 2 females. Two males are longcoated, and one females looks like she will have a plush coat. This age is my favorite (3-4 weeks) - the little guys are so cute wrestling each other and developing their individual personalities. One thing for sure, their favorite thing is food at this age. They are eating green tripe (raw and from a can), raw turkey meat cut into small pieces, evaporated goats milk with a dab of kefir, and soon I will introduce them to some kibble soaked in water.

This litter is very uniform, and I still have to rely on their collars to tell them apart. They are showing excellent pigmentation and color, strong bone and heads, and lively characters.

Below are my first impressions of the puppies when they were getting close to 4 weeks old. They were very patient with my photo-session!

Pink Collar Female is a total sweetheart. She has a very strong chest, powerful head, wonderful expression, as well as nice red markings on her stunning plush coat. Should make a gorgeous companion for an active family and is top show prospect!

Yellow Collar Female is large and substantial, with deep red markings and very strong pigment. Very nice structure with high wither and smooth topline make her a perfect show prospect, and she should also be very easy to train!

Yellow Collar Male is an especially large longhair puppy, and his eyes sparkle with intelligence as he makes eye contact and rushes when I call him. Fantastic puppy for an active family that appreciates a large, powerful, intelligent male dog. Excellent show and Schutzhund prospect.

Maroon Collar Male has a gorgeous long coat and will certainly be stunning with his strong pigment and red markings. He is quite active and loves to play with his siblings, as well as he will not refuse a meal! High wither and beautiful top line make him very pleasant to look at. Perfect show and Schutzhund prospect.

Violet Collar Male has it all: great expression, fantastic structure, beautiful color and markings, and lively disposition. He is one of the larger puppies and should make someone very happy!

Blue Collar Male has wonderful rich coat and is very typical of his father. He is strong and substantial, with very dark pigmentation, beautiful structure, and I think he will have a strong character. Perfect puppy to join an active family that will keep him busy, as well as top show and Schutzhund prospect.

Red Collar Male really stands out because of his absolutely fantastic structure with wonderful harmony of build, high wither, gorgeous topline, and nice angulations. He can make a devoted family companion and protector as well, for an active family.

Light Blue Collar Male is expressive, large, and with wonderful deep red markings. He is very active, and will make a perfect dog for someone interested in providing their German Shepherd with a job - he is too intelligent to just sit around! Perfect SchH, SaR, Agility, Obedience prospect.

Green Collar Male is large and substantial, with beautiful black and red markings. He is outgoing, playful, and should make an excellent show or Schutzhund prospect and a loyal companion for an active family. He already come running when he hears my voice!
