  "von Lotta" German Shepherd Puppies
Our German Shepherd puppies are our pride and joy.
I spent close to 20 years researching the breed, it's bloodlines, history and current development, as well as training and showing dogs, and I know that breeding quality dogs is much more than just putting two dogs with good pedigrees together. Each litter has to have a purpose, and each breeding pair should complement each other in more than one way.
There is no perfect dog, and every breeder has to decide - what are they breeding for? You can breed for show success, for points in working competitions, for stable temperament for service work, for specific colors or size. Here at KvL we breed for a dog with stable, self-confident temperament that is very eager to spend time with you and to play (strong pack drive). Basically, I breed dogs whose personality and intelligence I truly enjoy. They are dogs that can be trained in a wide variety of tasks, as well as I have to have a beautiful dog. My dogs are driven and trainable, with excellent harmony of build and dark pigment. They are a pleasure to have in the house, to take swimming, to play ball with, or participate in many types of "dog-sport," and they also succeed in shows. Read more About Us .

Pola is proving to be not only a wonderful girl to have, but also an excellent breeding female, as we've welcomed our "C" litter von Lotta a few days ago, 3 males & 3 females. We picked Erik as the father for this litter because he is well-accomplished at the world level, a son of double World Champion (2 x VA1) Remo vom Fichtenschlag (Remo's bloodline is considered to be an excellent combination for Quenn daughters), and of course a very handsome male with strong head, super pigment, and fantastic temperament. Pola is such an excellent representative of the breed - absolutely
healthy and an easy keeper, true to the standard, and is such a pleasure to be around and to train with, or simply go for a walk! We expect excellent hip/elbow health from this litter, as well as the puppies should be free from DM (per DNA test). One male is available for reservation from this litter.

A decade long dream come true - we are expecting our first show and working cross litter. A lot of thought went into this breeding of Janni and Ickky. With breedings like these one has to be careful to make sure that the show dog has a stable temperament and
excellent working ability, and the working dog also has a stable, friendly temperament, and, excellent confirmation. Don't think that breeding a lazy, shy show dog to the ugliest, meanest working dog in the club will give you "the best of both worlds!" Janni has a heart of gold and loves working. She is very powerfully built with huge head and strong bone, and she has fantastic
movement. She was rated V3 (Excellent 3rd place) at 2011 North American Sieger Show. Ickky is a very eager to please, quick, and powerful working machine. Don't take my word for it - this year Ickky will represent the United States of
America in the WUSV (the most prestigious yearly Schutzhund competition in the world). He and his handler are one of the 5 best teams in the country. Ickky also complements Janni in size and over all
firmness, and will improve the pigment tremendously. We expect these puppies to be substantial, with excellent pigmentation, and stable, friendly temperaments. They will be active and with strong drives, and they should thrive in an
environment where they have a job, as well as they will be happy as active family companions. "D" litter puppies will be available to go to their new homes around September 15th.
